Continental silver most probably German, marked with Lön master mark 12 lot for silver purity 750 and small hardly readable mark. Tubular tile with hinged panes and steel framed mounted on slots. The grater engraved with monogram JJ or FF, dated 1827 and on the other side at the lid has engravings symbol of Faith,Hope Love. Also on the sides decorated with engraved floral motifs. Beautiful and rare pice in excellent condition. Minor dark tone patina on silver can be noticed die to age. Found at estate sale in Berlin. Excellent condition.
