Spines should have gilt bands and gilt title lettering but Vol I has no spine leather and Vol II's is starting to curl and lift on one side. Boards are well rubbed and wear to corners and board edges. Vol I has both boards detached and Vol II's rear board is detached. Sporadic foxing in both volumes. Binding generally is tight. Index at the back of each book, last couple of pages are a little loose. Condition: fair/good. Pages are paginated by column, so Vol I 1719 pages (859 pages), Vol II 1711 pages (855 pages), 22 x 14 cm.
