HEYNE published by Sumtibus Rodwell et Martin; J Booker; Baldwin, Craddock, et Joy; etc., etc., London, in 1822. Here we have three of the most famous poems in Latin literature written by Roman poet Virgil including Bucolicon (The Eclogues or Bucolics); Georgicon (The Georgics); and, of course, the big one, Aeneis (The Aeneid). Tan calf leather boards with gilt lettering on the spine. A few minor marks on the boards with slight rubbing to the corners. Browning to endpapers. Name of previous owner on the prelim. Light foxing and light pencil annotation to pages. All pages are tight and the book is in very good condition. 392 pages. 13 cm x 8.5 cm.We have over 2000 items in our Ebay shop on a range of subjects, so please feel free to have a browse and see if anything else takes your fancy.
