Includes descriptions of the residents and visitors to these areas. Written by James Peller Malcolm, an American-English topographer and engraver. CONDITION Bound in half crushed morocco with brow cloth boards. Externally, sound with rubbing and wear resulting in minor loss to the extremities. Fading to the spine and marks to the boards. Fading to the head of the boards. Hinges starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with light age toning and scattered spotting, particularly to the plates. Pencil inscription to the front pastedown. Library stamp to the front endpaper, the odd page, and the rear pastedown.
