Description: Presented is a handsome English Georgian sterling silver fish slice or fish server. This piece dates to 1811 and was made by William & Samuel Knight. The blade of the server is fabulously hand engraved with traditional bright cut designs, and pierced with crescent shaped designs. The handle of the server is done in a classic Fiddle pattern, complete with fiddlehead terminal and distinctive shoulders above the blade. The terminal of the handle is monogrammed AR. This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monogram removals, and no repairs. This piece is hallmarked with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the date letter Q for 1811, King George III's head duty mark, and the maker's mark for William & Samuel Knight.
