Description: 1810 Solid Sterling Silver Small George III Vinaigrette, gilt lined. Hand chased to both the lid and the base. Full English Sterling Silver Hallmarks for By Joseph Willmore, Birmingham, England 1810. Unusual Small proportion Vinaigrette, with hand chased decoration. Inside is fully gilt lined and with original grate. Presented in very good pre-loved and used antique condition. Good closing, good hinges both the lid and to the internal grate. Excellent internal gilding and hallmarks. Some general outer wear by way of softening to the chase work, as expected. Cartouche has evidence of a previous monogram which has been removed. Measurements approximately: 3cm x 2cm (1.1/8” x 0.3/4”) Height: 1cm (0.1/4”)This piece is already in circulation meaning no new silver has been used.
