With two engraved plates, and a fold-out map. The fold-out map is missing the top third. The plates are engraved by Mr. John Dadley, from original designs of Mr. W. M. Craig. Includes an Alphabetical Catalogue of Names, Plants, Flowers, Fruits, Birds, Beasts, Insects, and Other material Things mentioned in the four Books of this Poem. Author Information from COPAC. Not widely held in UK institutions.. Little is known about James Templeman except that he published three volumes of verse between 1808 and 1810. CONDITION The binding is tight and firm. The hinges are only just starting and still firm. There is wear to the extremities, including rubbing and edge wear, prominent to the spine, with ink marks to the front board. Internally the pages with browning and foxing. There is an ink inscription to the front blank, and red ink marks to the rear free-endpaper.
