Greek-inscribed ship (page 10) portrays the 1822 Battle of Nauplia, in which Greek ships were triumphant over invading Ottoman Naval forces in the Argolikos Bay. French-inscribed prints depict a naval battle from the Greek War of Independence in which Lord Dundonald Gochrane's fleet of Greek Revolutionary Navy ships were triumphant over Ottoman advances (page 20); and of a seascape of Sporades (page 24).
