Description: Large 1850's Kashmir Paisley Tapestry Blanket Shawl Handmade Embroidered Fringe Edges A beautiful hand sewn elaborately embroidered Kashmir paisley Tapestry, blanket, quilt, shawl. 19th century wool shawl of traditional design {the boteh or paisley shape} surrounding a central medallion, with multiple borders. Always considered a luxury item these shawls have been collected and worn by women for centuries. It was passed down through generations of family members since a 7x great aunt from the 1850's. Shawl is an antique and may need some laundering/refreshing. Approximate measurements 72" x 72" This item requires signature upon delivery, please plan accordingly. Great antique condition- a few small holes in the center no larger than 0.5", overall wear due to age and use. Please see photos for details.
