Description: 18" American Girl Molly McIntire Doll. From the early 1990's, most likely 1991, a Pleasant Company doll, with soft, squishy vinyl and a soft cloth body, all original. Light face coloring, and beautiful long curled brown eyelashes. She's a transitional tan body doll, made when they were switching from white bodies to tan bodies. Molly's hair is lovely, soft and easy to brush, with silky bangs. Hasn't been played with much if at all, no thinning whatsoever, ends are a bit dry just from age. Her hair looked like it might have been in factory braids but they were pretty messy and halfway undone, so I redid them carefully. She has very loose limbs, partly from her stuffing having "flattened out" a bit over time, so you may want to tighten them and add some stuffing, or just use a doll stand. Long, uncut neck strings. Her eyes open and close as they should, though one eye is silvering as pictured. Her cloth body and vinyl are clean, though she may have shine/smudge marks on her limbs from play.
