An interesting legal work written by William Boscawen. Not much is known about the author, other than that he was a Barrister at Law, and so an authority on the legal practise of late 18th century. A valuable work of legal history, exploring a multitude of cases. Previous owners bookplate to the front pastedown of 'Strathallam'. CONDITION In a full calf binding. Externally rubbed to the head and tail of the spine, with rubbing also to the joints and extremities. A small amount of loss to the head and tail of the spine. Large crack to the rear joint. Patches of rubbing to the boards. Bookplate to the front pastedown. The rear hinge is strained. Internally firmly bound. Pages are generally clean with light spots to the first and last pages.
