I can provide additional pictures upon request. Offered for sale is #1790, a hand blown amber blob beer bottle from Vonder Horst's Eagle Brewery and Malt House. Vonder Horst was an executive in Major League Baseball and a former owner of the Baltimore Orioles and Brooklyn Superbas. He was one of the principal founders and owners of the old 19th century Baltimore Orioles. The embossing is strong. It is a dug bottle and displays with some case wear, external and internal staining. There is no glasshouse markings on this example. Interesting to note is that this slug plate originally did not have the Eagle motif nor TRADE MARK included. It was later added to the slug plate and additional bottles were blown.
