This is the First edition published by John Nichols in 1790. This is a bind up of all the monthly issues of the magazine for that year - so all twelve issues rather than just Jan to June or July to Dec. One of the main features in this book is the Obituary of Benjamin Franklin. It consists of double columns, pp. 571-574 with considerable detail on Franklin's life, accomplishments, and works. There is also a summary of the Mutiny on the Bounty. There are 35 b/w plates and maps arranged throughout, some of them fold out.
