Description: 1787 Connecticut Copper, Draped Bust Left, flipover double strike. 105.8 grains. An awesome Connecticut copper error, a bold flipover double strike with a full INDE and branch at the center of the obverse, and AUCTORI at the center of the reverse. Additional details from the devices of the opposite side are seen at the left border of each side as well. Glossy two-tone surfaces with excellent eye appeal. While double struck Connecticuts are seen with some regularity, dramatic flipover strikes such as this are quite rare. Provenance: New Netherlands 12/1968:342 - Richard August - RCR 1/1984 - Anthony Terranova - Jesse Patrick - Steve Tanenbaum - Sydney F. Martin.
