1786-1788 New Jersey Cent- Colonial Copper Coin

Description: I am selling a New Jersey copper cent minted sometime between 1786-1788 (This was sold to be as an 1787 example, but I cannot make out enough of the date to confirm it). The coin pictured is the exact coin you will receive. It has corroded/pitted surfaces on both sides and a deeper gouge of damage on the shield side. I do not know if enough details remain to identify the variety or date, but I am far from an expert in colonial coins. An authentic piece of early American history!
