1/700 IJN Battleship Hiei Hasegawa Water Line Series #49110 Factory Sealed MISB

Description: I need to clear some space on my shelves, so I have to part with some of my collection. THIS IS MY LAST ONE! The Kongo class IJN Battleships were the most active in the Japanese fleet during WWII, participating in almost every significant action across the Pacific. Unfortunately for the Hiei, she was the first Japanese battleship sunk in WWII in November 1942 near Guadalcanal. I came across a few of these outstanding Hasegawa kits on clearance, so I am willing to let this one go. There are about a dozen of these kits listed on eBay (mostly from distant overseas sellers), but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship this kit very quickly. Here is what I have found online about this particular model: The Hasegawa website (hasegawa-model.co.jp) shows the fine box art and a photo of a finished model but has no useful information about the kit. Scalemates.com shows that this is a 201x release (the box has a 2010 date) based on the classic 1993 tooling that has been the basis of over 20 releases across the Hasegawa and Aoshima brands. They provide a link to download the instruction set and many links to aftermarket parts, references and galleries for Kongo-class battleships. This kit is in a sturdy box about 15.5” x 5” x 1.5”. As you can see from the pictures, the kit is in mint condition and the box is still sealed with tape strips, so I consider it factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains highly detailed parts and decals to make a waterline hull model of this famous IJN Battleship. I use eBay Managed Payments, but I no longer ship internationally.
