Description: Le Masque de fer ("The Iron Mask") is a 1962 French film directed by Henri Decoin, based on the 1850 novel The Vicomte of Bragelonne: Ten Years Later by Alexandre Dumas and specifically part 3 of the novel, The Man in the Iron Mask; which in turn is based on the real-life story of the Man in the Iron Mask. This is an excellent condition film print mounted on 2 X 1600' reels and 1 x 1200' and printed on Eastman color film stock. This is an English language print. Please see photos above for image representation and color/or b/w image quality. This print has leaders, and countdowns. This print was tested for Vinegar Syndrome, see the results. INFORMATION ON COLOR RATINGS:IB TECHNICOLOR/KODACHROME, ECTACHROME, CINECOLOR– Non fade dye transfer process—Premium!LOWFADE – Mylar or Estar, AG2S, LPP, various Fuji stocks etc. Stocks that will not fade for a very long time! Premium!EXCELLENT-a color stock but shows no signs of discoloration, fading, shifting. VERY GOOD COLOR– has a slight shift, but retains most of its color. may have a slight reddish/pinkish/brownish cast to it, but has strong color.GOOD COLOR – has a noticeable shift, but still maintains much of it’s color.
