Description: 16mm black and white sound approx. 10 minute Castle Films NEWS PARADE OF THE YEAR 1942. This consists of newsreel footage of Word War II, mainly covering US forces activity in Ireland, India, China, Alaska (Aleutian Islands), South Pacific. There are clips of Brazil declaring war on the axis, Churchill and Stalin, and Russian soldiers fighting the Germans. Aside from a few seconds of damage at the start of the film, mainly on the title card, this is a sharp print with crisp sound--much better images than my digital snaps. NOTE: There is no "The End" card. Film wraps with footage of the Midway victory and the US flag raised up a pole. There are a few notes of closing fanfare music, then the film abruptly ends. Buyer pays EXACT postage—to the penny. I NEVER inflate postage or add rip-off “handling” fees. I ALWAYS combine postage on multiple purchases. Your item carefully packaged and promptly mailed.
