DIAMETER 1,600 ft. CAPACITY 16mm FILM TAKE UP REEL NO HOLES IN THE REELBROWN Film Reels are what Goldberg Brothers does best. They offer a wide range of reels that meet or exceed motion picture industry precision standards, in sizes ranging from 8mm to 105mm. The Goldbergs started their most famous product line in 1913, supplying the fledgling silent film industry with film reels, shipping boxes and related hardware. Although just a sideline at first, their film-related supplies went on to become their most successful venture. In 1940, Goldberg Brothers signed a license agreement to manufacture film reels under the Eastman Kodak brand, setting the stage for the company to become the world’s leading supplier of film reels for both the professional and amateur markets. This auction is for a vintage GOLDBERG BROS. 16mm movie film steel reel. It measures about 13.75 inches in diameter and has a capacity of 1600 feet of film. It may have a small film sample. (See Pics) It was part of an inventory removed from a home of a CAMERA COLLECTOR after he died and the owners sold the home. These cameras were among a number of CAMERAS AND PHOTOGRAPHIC SUPPLIES. They all looked like in decent shape. So, I am selling it "AS IS" NO RETURNS NO REFUNDS, and pricing it accordingly. Condition: This reel appears to be in excellent condition. It is about 50 years old, some may have slight surface rust or markings, see pics. Due to the quantity available, the item pictured may not be the actual item you will receive, but similar.
