Title page a little grubby and with glue mark to inner margin. The prelim leaves following are stuck to the inner margin, covering a little of the text. A good, solid and sound and complete copy in the main. Minor marks, blemishes or marginal nicks/tears else sound. A small section to the centre [K1-O12] with short upper marginal tear {see image]. With a book of Psalms bound at the close, complete, collating A-D12, with it’s own title page. Some period MS notes to the front and rear end papers. A sound copy presented in a particularly attractive period binding. Bound in a rather attractive gilt calf binding with remains of the original clasps and with the metal corner-pieces. With the initials P.R. tooled to the centre of the front board. Spine with raised bands and with contemporary gilt décor. A solid and rather handsome period binding.
