Description: For Sale: A used 16" tall vintage Burdines green alligator plush with a yellow whistle around his neck. Made by Francesca & Co. in 1987. Burdines was a chain of department stores that got absorbed into Macy's at the turn of the century. They were based in Florida. Very nicely stuffed, soft and cute. He's in a sitting position, but needs propping to sit up. Still has his yellow foam whistle. I believe he also had a jacket, which I do not have. Condition: Very good; scratches & minor marks on eyes (see photos 8 and 9); some wear/pilling to felt "claws" (see last 3 photos). No rips, tears, stains or odors.
