Description: Railroad/Train Box Car/Caboose Wood Hinged Box Hand-Made 16" This is a unique hand-made item. I am not sure what it was used for, but it is neat - if you are a train enthusiast. It is made of solid wood. The front opens towards you - and is hinged. Inside it is as big as a mailbox. It was used outdoors - and it appears to have been mounted several different ways. There are holes on the side (over-hang) areas, 2 small holes in the top and the back. The wheels move - but they are mainly decorative. It is mainly Red, with black trim - and Yellow accents/letters/numbers This was made for someone's personal use - so it is not a masterpiece... You can see the pencil marks - where they outlined the numbers, and theyare not perfectly straight. Item weighs 6 lbs, unboxed. Please examine pictures. Again, this item appeared to be outdoors, so there is some wear on it, and some light paint loss, etc...I do not know who made it - when, or where they were from. Conditions/Notes: Item is hand made, and was used outdoors - so it has a little weather on it. Item appears to have been mounted several different ways - and there are holes where there were screws or nails to do so.
