Description: For your consideration is a vintage aluminum Douglas C-54 Skymaster Douglas Factory Model in 1/50 scale. Model is in very good condition for age and has scuffs, scratches, dings, surface corrosion, paint and minor decal loss. It appears at some point in the past the model received a clear overcoat, the remains of which have yellowed over the years. Reproduction stand. This model does not include a swivel. The mounting hole is round, not square, so it bolts directly to the stand. Propellers and prop domes are custom made recasts. I recently saw a similar DFM C-54 about 100 serial numbers earlier that is identical down to the lacquer overcoat. Wing and fuselage serial numbers match.
