Song Title : KDE DOMOV MUI , (Where My Home Is) Bohemian song , so stated in the Regina disc catalog……on the disc it reads “Hungarian Melody” Composer : Frantisek Skroup Regina Catalog # : 1115 Note: The Hapsburg Monarchy ruled (from 1200AD to 1918AD , with less and less authority) the land area of Hungary and Bohemia and all the surrounding areas, all of Czechia included. When Skroup wrote his music, this was and is a single verse song, from a piece with a title something like “no fights nor brawls” , then taken up by nationalists in 1918 for half of the Czechoslovakia national anthem. Slovakia got the other half. Second note: A beautiful tune, maybe too bouncy on the music box, much fuller with an orchestra , my father was proud of our french/bohemian heritage ( just thought i would mention it) , we left in 1848, reluctantly, growing up we listened to dvorak every single day every single day on the hi-fi
