Description: After the ornate fashions of the Victorian Age, and the flashy Gilded Age style of the Edwardians, the Art Deco Era of the 20s and 30s introduced the element of understated classic elegance in dress and jewelry for both men and women. That classic elegance is nicely displayed by the simple geometric patterns within these cufflinks. I am sorry they are not signed, because the workmanship is exceptional, and skillfully highlighted by the subtle black enameling over 14kt white gold. My photos show their weight of just over 4.5 grams, with dimensions of 10.6 and 14.5 mm, respectively. I've worn these cufflinks myself, so I know how well they set off a crisp gray or black shirt with french cuffs. That's why in my short video clip I selected a sponge backing with black and gray sides, to hopefully show what I mean. Sadly, I don't find much reason to "dress to the nines" in the simpler life I happily live here now, so I'm posting them for sale to someone who can use them as they were intended. You don't have to call attention to yourself. Discerning people recognize a classic style. Check out my 100% satisfaction rating, and thanks for taking a look! Update: The price of gold has risen so much recently, someone may be tempted to buy these for scrap, which would be a crime, so I’m raising the price a little.
