Description: Up for sale is a 14K Gold Carved Floating Jade Feng Shui Chinese Bagua Prayer Wheel Pendant.The bail is hallmarked 14k 585 indicating that the decorative gold topper and bail are solid 14 karat.This is an estate piece and will show wear in the gold i.e. scratches, scuffs, tarnish/patina/color toning change, etc.There are 3 parts that make up the jade pendant all of which are independently free floating.The center is a Yin and Yang symbol.The middle has the carved earthly branches and the eight trigrams.(I believe there is a small chip in the middle part of the pendant, situated on the front left shown in picture 16)The pendant varies in color from light green almost white to a darker green in areas.Measurements are approximately 1 & 3/4" wide x 2 & 5/8" bail to bottom x 5/8" thick.Weighs in at 28.7 grams on my scale. The bagua is is a set of symbols from China intended to illustrate the nature of realityas being composed of mutually opposing forces reinforcing one another.These eight trigrams are Heaven, Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, Thunder, Mountain and Lake.These Eight Trigrams are arranged into their opposites, forming an octagon called bagua.
