Purple is such a great color, and amethyst is February's birthstone. The pear-shaped amethysts measure 15 x 10 mm, approximately 5.25 ct each. They are set in sturdy raised basket mountings, secured by two prongs and a chevron tip to protect the points of the stones. The amethyst weight is approximately 10.25 ctw. The earrings are equipped with sturdy omega back closures. They measure 7/8" long by 3/8" wide. They are hallmarked with maker's mark DC, 14k and 585.
