Description: RESIN2detailHigh QualityFree ShippingCustomer Support1/48 FAST FIX P-36 Hawk Resin Cowl + Engine Upgrade RESIN2detail 48221 1/48 FAST FIX P-36 Hawk Resin Cowl + Engine Upgrade RESIN2detail 48221   One-piece resin cowl with gun blisters, ventral intake and open vents.  Realistic scale thickness and flap detail.  No need to fill center-line seam with this set. Bundled with our super-detailed R-1830 Fast Fix engine front which is drop-fit   Designed to fit Wolfpack / Academy Kits   ***********************************************************************************************************************************************************************   NOTE(S): This is an ADVANCED kitset. Prior experience using 3D printed resin parts HIGHLY recommended.  Will take between15 and 20 minutes for an experienced modeller to carefully remove supports.    Remember -- Go slow and take your time - the resin can be brittle!  Parts are thin and can plit/crack easily. Recommended tools: Flush-cut trimmers, Tamiya Razor Saw (or similar) and sharp #11 hobby knife.   INSTRUCTIONS:    Recommended Steps to remove supports:             1) Start with outer supports ring.                  a) Use a NEW #11 hobby knife blade to slice the supports about 0.5mm from where it attaches to the part/cowl flap trailing edge.  You do not want to apply too much pressure here or it may chip the thin section.  Start with the section closest to the base and work your way slowly around.  It might take 5-10 gentle slices to free it from the part. Take your time here!                  b)  Use Xuron flush cut trimmers to break off the stems from the supports detached from part in step 1(a)                  c) Use razor saw (use water here to lubricate blade and cut down on dust) to carefully cut all support stems from the base              2) Once cowl fully detached from base, use Xuron or Sharp #11 blade to carefully detache the inner support ring which attaches to the inside edge of the cowl opening.  Remove with tweezers or shake parts into trash.              3) Remove remaining attachment stubs from part carefully using either #11 blade or flush-cut Xuron trimmers              4) Wet-sand remaining attachment points to slowly grind them down flush / flat              5) Careully clean in soapy water and move on to Engine using same general idea from a support removal perspective                   Recommended for modelers 17+ and/or those with experience installing aftermarket aircraft upgrades. Prior modelling experience highly recommended. As with all resin products, keep dust to a minimum and use water if/when it is sanded.   ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************   Scale: 1/48   Brand: RESIN2detail   Condition: Brand New   Shipping: Free USPS First Class Shipping included   SKU: R2D48221   Please check out our other scale model and accessory eBay listings!Choose from a Huge Selection of Top-Quality Model Kits and Accessory Brands!
