Description: Vtg Mah Jong 148 Apple Juice ResinRed Wafer Back Mahjong Mah Jongg Tiles. Original Box. Includes Instructions, Dice, Chips and Wind Indicator. I don't think all of the chips are there. 148 Tiles: 144 plus 4 Blanks One blank is missing the back. Some of the wafers have come loose and were re-attached. A few are not perfectly straight. Three of the red dragon tiles look like they cracked when they were made. You can't feel a crack, though, so I'm not sure what happened with those. Pink Chips: 16 Black Chips: 4 Red Chips: 40 Dice: 6 Wind Indicator - Please see photos for condition This game was purchased by a family friend who lived in Japan in the late 1940's and 1950's. Through my research, I found that this set was probably manufactured from 1937-1942. If you have better information, please let me know.
