Description: This is a large heavy antique carafe made by E.G. Webster & Bro. of New York. This item was produced between 1875 and 1886. It is elaborately etched and has relief work as well. The finial is a fan shape. The handle and spout have designs on them as well as the whole body of the piece. It is marked E,G, Webster & Bro. NY, quadruple plate. Looks a lot like pewter (but it's not!). This carafe is 14" high, 11" from handle to spout, and 7 1/2" in diameter at the base. A beautiful piece of history!
