Description: I have to clear some space on my shelves, so I need to part with some of my collection. The M35A1 Gun Truck was a field modification to a Deuce and a Half to provide a high-mobility firepower platform to provide security to convoys and troops in the chaotic jungles of Vietnam. AFV Club from Taiwan has produced a line of 2 ½-ton trucks as cargo haulers, fuel trucks and gun trucks. This kit represents a Vietnam War-era Gun Truck with a quad .50 caliber gun mount to provide a big punch during a Thunder Run. I found dozens of listings for this kit on eBay (in a variety of condition), but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship this kit to you very quickly. Here is what I have found online about this unique kit: The AFV Club website (hobbyfan.com.tw) has a listing for this kit showing the box art and two shots of a wonderfully finished model. John has much expert knowledge about this truck and noted a few shortcomings, such as the trailer mount. His last words were: “This should build into a nice model, but it’s a shame about that trailer mount.” International Scale Modeller posted a lengthy (21-minute) Unboxing Video on YouTube. It starts with a close look at the main sprues before pulling out the rubber tires and PE fret. He scrutinizes the clear parts and decals and then finishes off with the detailed instructions. This kit is in a sturdy box about 15” x 10” x 2.5”. As you can see from the pictures, the package is in great shape and still has the original tape strips, so I consider it factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains one complete injection molded plastic model kit with olive green plastic parts, a small fret of photo etched metal parts, rubber tires, a colorful set of decals and a 16-page instruction manual.
