This laser etched paper zimmerit set allows you to add the specialized coating seen in so many wartime photos of this tank, especially if you want to achieve the zimmerit effect in an easy process.The pattern replicates the distinct ridged pattern common to the Tiger I tank.No special tools or glues are needed. If you spray the model with aerosol primer, you can attach the zimmerit pieces with white glue (PVA). If you want to add the zimmerit directly to the tank as purchased, you can a variety of glues you have on hand, including spray adhesive but we don't recommend using super glue (CA) as it won't allow any time to position the pieces and will soak into the paper. The set comes with optional panels for adding directly to the model as is with molded on track tensioning cables on the hull side, or you can slice off that detail and add a full zimmerit panel to the hull sideYou can easily add chips and battle damage before or after applying the zimmerit to the model using an x-acto blade.Full instructions are included.
