Description: This is a great 13 pound lot of rough, fantastically colorful petrified wood pieces that were hand collected by myself from Southern Utah. A beautiful piece for display, tumbler pieces, jewelry or other lapidary projects. These larger pieces do have some fracturing of smaller fragments on the exterior with what seems to be a more solid interior. Please be aware. I have received feedback from a trusted Buyer that these larger pieces are quite fracture prone when trying to slab them, so I cannot be certain of their slabbing quality. Photos show the actual rock you will receive (not an "example" photo). Material is shown both wet and dry. This has some very unusual colors for the area. Great mixture of a rough natural specimens for your collection and display. The piece is approx. 1"x 4+" in size. Total weight of the piece is 13 pounds.
