The car lift platform is high enough to ensure both sedans and many SUVs will fit underneath. It is shipped in parts, 4 posts + 1 platform. This is done for easy shipping and storage. When putting the car lift together, glue is optional. The fit is usually tight enough so no glue is needed. If you plan to paint these display stands, a thin coat of primer before paint is highly recommended. Without primer the paint may not adhere properly and chip off.
