The yellow is called Abiu and is said to be better tasting but is very rare. Purple Star Apple tend to have thicker skin with less pulp than the green and yellow. Star Apple has a taste like milky brown sugar with a berry and slight lychee after taste. Star Apple are eaten out of hand or used in drinks and smoothies.
