Description: Fig tree cuttings for rooting. Offered for sale are 12 high quality Hardy Chicago fig tree cuttings. Each cutting is 8 plus inches long with a minimum of 4 nodes. Our cuttings are fresh cut from our mature Hardy Chicago trees at or farm located in zone 7A in Southern New Jersey. Our cold hardy fig trees produce two fig crops each year and do not need pollination. The trees thrive in full sun with light watering and a little organic fertilizer applied three times a year. Mature Hardy Chicago fig trees are drought resistant and are reliable heavy producers of sweet juicy delicious figs. We have included a few pictures of some of our fig trees, fig products, and pictures of some of the cuttings. The pictures of the cuttings are a representation of the cuttings you will receive and may not be the same cuttings shown in the pictures. See last few pictures for examples of what we grew with three three-inch cuttings with two nodes. Two out of three planted cuttings are growing baby fig trees. The pot in the last picture contains a growing two-inch scion baby tree. Our cold hardy fig trees produce sweet, delicious dark purple figs that we use for eating, baking, including pies, bread, cookies, pancakes, fig jam and other culinary products.
