Description: 12 FIBRO/black skinned chicken BLUE&GREEN EGGERS Hatching eggs This listing is for 12 (1 dozen) fertile hatching eggs that will be fulfilled in the order of purchase. + a few extra eggs added into each order Hatching eggs offered are from Fibro Melanin birds (black/dark skinned) bred by using AYAM CEMANI. We are not offering pure cemani here, these are crosses and will range in fibro content % ( some may be a bit lower and not have have much visible fibro, in that case you may breed back to another higher content fibro in the following generation). Chicks will be F3 (3rd gen) with 1 copy of the blue/green egg genetics. The hens are set up with a group of Sweedish Silverrruds (rare breed known for beautiful green eggs) that are tested to have 2 copies of the blue/green egg genetics. This means when the fibro hens + rooster have offspring, the offspring would have 1 copy. Chickens with 1 copy for the blue/green egg genetics will lay blue/green eggs!! **Please note: your hatching eggs will look brown. but your babies will lay the blue/green eggs. ** So how is this different from other options out there? Witch this Silverruds pairing, being that this is a tested group, it gives you babies you do not need to wonder on if the pairing worked for the green eggs or not. The pairing for this group removed the guesswork. What will the chicks look like? That depends on which hen gave the egg. We placed some interesting, beautiful hens. the silverruds will give the bbs plumage genetics. (IF desired, we can also switch out some from this line with different Fibro options from other pens. These will only be added by request.)** We only take orders for within this season's fulfillment, but if your is on the later side to be fulfilled, that can happen as ship outs can be effected by where you are in queue, as well as weather, and bird laying patterns. IF expecting or wanting ship outs right away, please inquire before purchase. It could be orders are caught up with at time of purchase and you indeed get immediate ship out. Eggs that never develop do not mean they were infertile!
