Description: Listed here is a fantastic set of Twelve Fish Forks in the fabled Chrysanthemum pattern from the iconic American retailer Tiffany & Co. This set can of course be utilized for courses other than fish. They are perfect for salad, dessert or even ice cream with their spoon-shaped bowls. The forks are 6 7/8 inches long and the set weigh a staggering 848 grams. Early Tiffany sterling is remarkably heavy. They are in excellent antique condition. Ten are monogrammed with a scrolling script while two are without monograms. There are some micro-scratches and light tarnish commensurate with age and gentle use. Please view and enlarge the photographs for a better idea of condition. Designed in 1880 by Charles Grosjean, this pattern is recognized as one of Tiffany's most beautiful and luxurious designs. It was so beloved that when Tiffany discontinued the pattern in 1934 the uproar from their customers inspired the company to reinstate the design until 1955.
