Since it is a scale model, it cannot make sawdust like the real model. But all the mechanisms work as in the real model. it is set in motion by the large foot treadle, turns the large wheel. This wheel is attached by a leather pulley to a spindle, which holds a block of wood in place with the help of a tailstock. Fixed tailstock can be disassembled and mounted. It's new, and has never been used. Crafted of solid wood (Pear tree).
