Revell has released a line of 1/100 scale aircraft aimed at the intermediate (Level 3) modeler. These have a low part count and reasonable assembly to allow you to build your skills with a weekend build. This kit represents the Boeing AH-64A Apache attack helicopter that was designed to halt an onslaught of Soviet tanks into West Germany and other NATO countries. Versions are still used today and drive fear into the hearts of enemy tankers. I found plenty of listings for this kit on eBay (almost all from overseas!), but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship this very quickly. Holger Syring published a bare-bones In-Box Review on the German-language ipmsdeutschland.de site with photos of the two sprues and the box art. Being a man of few words, his Conclusion was: “The kit is well done. Just the right thing for beginners of the hobby of model making.” This kit is in a side-opening box about 9.5” x 6” x 1.5”. As you can see from the pictures, the box is still sealed with two large tape disks, so it is factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains an injection molded plastic model kit with 56 green and clear plastic parts and a set of decals to build a deadly AH-64A Apache attack helicopter from the Cold War era.
