Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION: 11" Composition Scarlett O'Hara Doll by Madame Alexander - Vintage 1930s Wearing a Hard to Find Original Gone With The Wind Costume.Pretty, little composition 1930's Scarlett in good condition wearing one of the more difficult to find original costumes. It is not tagged but includes the red and white checked dress with ruched, bibbed front, ribbon adorned sleeves, pockets in the skirt, attached petticoat, red ribbon decorated pantaloons, wide brim straw hat with matching ribbon replaced vintage socks and shoes. All composition, she is jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. Raven human hair wig, in original set. Renewed, working sleep eyes with thick brush lashes, eye shadow, painted lower lashes, single stroke eye brows, bright cheek blush and pert, bow mouth. Very good composition body with blushed hands and knees.very sweet little vintage doll.CONDITION: Good lightly played with. Free of chips, cracks, very light crazing. She has three to four areas of damage to her stomach area - please see the last picture for details. Facial paint is in very good condition. Sleep eyes work and have all their lashes. Perfect fingers and toes. Stringing is tight - she can stand and pose. Clothing is clean and free of rips or stains. Red of dress has faded. Dress closes with one square snap at the neck back and a black velvet ribbon at the back waist. Hat has three edge chips in the straw, original bow and held on with a hat pin. Pantaloons have re-stitched elastic at the waist. Socks and shoes are replaced. MEASUREMENT: 11" tall. MARKED: unmarkedWill ship Priority Mail at about 15 oz.
