Platter 23.5" x 9.5" . 10 Dinner plates --9"diameter each with attractive different fish couples on the Aqua background.The fishes, the seaweed and the borders are all gilded (one plate has flat under the rim chip , typical stalking case). The rim of the plates and the platter are the most pleasant Green color which is in perfect harmony with Gold!!The scenes are hand decorated/accented by J.Martin and non of them repeating images. All fishes are different. Gorgeous! Border has gilt highlights to shape the scalloped edge This is old and rare and very beautiful set. The set has mark on the back Theodore Haviland Limoges FRANCE and impressed T.H (with the crown in between) under the glaze.
