Description: This small collection of the Washington DC biweekly news magazine, "The First Folio of the Performing Arts", are dated between May 15, 1973, which is the "Introductory Copy Free" and Nov 15/December 13, 1973. I can't find any good overview of the history of the magazine. The Introductory Copy notes on the bottom: "Published EVERY TWO WEEKS on Tuesdays in Washington D.C. and Baltimore. Available at theatres, hotels, motels, various ticket agencies, universities, bookstores, shops and boutiques for fifty cents per issue. Ten Dollars per annual subscription." The magazines are in VERY GOOD CONDITION, with age-toning around the edges, wear and possibly very small tears along the creases. All issues are from Vol 1 in 1973, and include: #1 May 15, #3 June 12, #4 June 26, #5 July 10-24, #6 July 10-24, #8 Aug 21-Sep 4, #9 Sep 4-18 (3 copies), #13 Nov 1-15, #15 Nov-Dec13. BONUS: 2 other Washington DC Entertainment & Local Scene magazines are included. One is titled, Washington Scene, Vol 1/No. 3 October 1973 with a cover of the Washington Redskins, and 2 are titled, Woodwind: April Fool's Parody dated Mar 27 1973, and April 24, 1973.
