These dosimeters can be read on any reader designed to read thermoluminescent dosimeters. The advantage of the Alnor hanger is that you can utilize multiple dosimeters to determine radiation field characteristics. Each Alnor dosimeter has an individualized sequence number. The dosimeters inside can be associated with this number and the position in the hanger for positive ID and element correction factors that greatly increase the accuracy of TL dosimeters.
