Description: 2x 54mm British Colonial Flags of the 24th Foot Regiment (2nd Warwickshire) at the Battle of Isandlwana 22nd January 1879 during the Zulu War. Regimental and Queen's Flag as seen in the photo. Please note that British Colonial flags were much smaller than British Napoleonic flags. The colours during the Zulu War were 112.5cm length x 90cm breadth. As the Film zulu is iconic as is the Zulu Dawn Film - where the Flag ( Colours ) of the 24th Foot were lost in action at Isandhlwana ( the worst defeat of a modern British army to native troops) - these flags are a must for the discerning Colonial & Zulu wargamer. They are printed on high quality thin matt photo paper. Cut out and glued to a 8cm metal pole with a sharp spear point. Can be bent to give wavy impression.
