The stone weighs 7.65 carats (stamped) and has lots of fire and brilliance, with great green and red overtones through a strikingly blue stone. A gorgeous opal whose play of color is impossible to capture through photos, it is believed to be Ethiopian. Really a pretty stone. The opal is in great condition no chips, cracks or crazing. It is surrounded by multiple round brilliant cut diamonds, set in a classic halo cocktail fashion. They combine to weigh a substantial 2.82 carats (stamped). The diamonds have been jeweler graded to be F-G in color and VS1-SI1 in clarity with lots of shine and life. Nice quality diamonds. The ring's head measures 22.6 mm wide for a nice showy look and is guaranteed to be a conversation starter and an eye catcher. Really a pretty ring.
