Please see my other sales for more Intel DC P4610 HPE Enterprise 6.4TB SSD drives. Review: The Intel SSD DC P4610 Series is the company's newest line of data center drives specifically built for performance, QoS, and capacity. Leveraging the NVMe specification 1.2 inside a U.2 2.5” form factor, this focus on storage efficiency allows organizations to minimize service outages and to effectively manage their data centers "at scale". The new Intel line also helps improve server agility and utilization and accelerates applications in a variety of different cloud workloads. This time around, Intel uses 64-layer TLC 3D NAND technology, which allowed them to increase the maximum capacity of the P4610 Series by up to 20% compared to the previous line (P4600). Intel indicates that this will add further workload applications, including more users for cloud and enterprise service providers and improved data service levels. As far as performance goes, the DC P4610 Series is expected to reach sequential read and write speeds up to 3,200MB/s and 2,100 MB/s, respectively, while random read and writes are quoted at 620,000 IOPS and 200,000 IOPS. Intel claims this will translate to 35% faster writes rate, improved endurance of up to 35% per drive, and up to four times the reduction of service time at a QoS metric of 99.99% availability for random access workload.FYI: SFF-8639 connector, also known as "U.2". These are not SATA or SAS connections, but rather PCI-e 4x over something that looks like SATA/SAS, but actually has more pins in-between what would normally be the data and power segments of the connector. These drives absolutely 1000% will not work with an SAS controller. You would need to buy either a PCI-e carrier card for the drive and mount it to that (then the whole thing goes into a PCI-e slot), or buy an SFF-8639 to SFF-8643 cable along with an M.2 to SFF-8643 adapter board, both of which will let you connect a U.2 drive to an M-key M.2 slot (that is to say, an M.2 slot with PCI-e lanes on it- since some M.2 slots only support SATA and not PCI-e).Once again, that's not an SAS connector and that drive doesn't use SAS, it's literally PCI-e over a connector that looks like SAS, but totally isn't. If you try to connect one of these to an SAS port, you will likely fry the drive, the SAS controller, or both. Please see photos for content and physical condition. If there is an issue with the product then email me first. Don't revert to leaving undesirable feedback. The best way is to simply communicate with an email. I work with all my costumers to try and make it right. I work as high school teacher and the only days I can ship are a few days on Monday, and every Tuesdays and Thursdays. I don't ship on the weekend because my box store is not open on those days, I am busy testing and posting computers for sale, and I want to spend some time with my family. Thus, I place a "3 days to ship" to accommodate these issues. Thank you for your understanding. I only use eBay Global Shipping Service on International Order, no exceptions. I will ship to Hawaii, Alaska, PO Boxes, and PR, even though I have a block on these areas, but they will be subject to paying exact shipping cost that will be calculated. Please ask prior to purchasing the computer. eBay policies leave me with no choice but to mark each of my auctions with a “no return” policy. This is being done to protect me against returns such as (buyer’s remorse). After using the item for days and weeks, the buyer can submit a return and is not obligated to reimburse the seller for shipping charges and I have to pay for shipping charges back. Even though it is marked a “no return, “a buyer can still submit a return if the item was not as described or the item was damaged during shipping. Also, I do not need an eBay policy to do what is right and accept the item back if it wasn’t as described or damaged during shipping. Keep in mind, that I mainly sell vintage computers and vintage computer accessories. That said even though the box/item may not show damage, the internal mechanism may have been damaged or jarred from a rough truck and/or plane ride. I will work with ALL my customers to resolve the problem. Recently, I have had to take back items where the buyer didn’t check with mom/dad, husband/wife, or God prior to buying and did a return. eBay forced me to take the item back. Personally, I do not think that this is an acceptable way to return items. Many of the sellers on here are just trying to provide for their families and this kind of previous return is not fair to the seller. We are not Walmart or Costco that cannot absorb these financial damages. Again, I will work with all my costumers to ensure that they are happy with the item they purchased. Thank you for your patronage.
