These medium leather journals have 200 pages Both side of handmade Deckle Edge Cotton Paper (also known as kaddi or khaddi) that has been left over from the massive garment industry in India. They are handmade and don’t contain chemicals as we only use unbleached cotton. The paper is made by a charity in rural Rajasthan that promotes women’s education and their social standing in rural villages. How are the journals made? The leather has been tanned by our suppliers and the journals have been crafted using a mixture of love, contemporary and traditional skills. The embossing has been expertly created using small individual handmade tools making each journal unique. The pages have been bound by hand, so they are strong and perfect for travellingDue to the nature of these leather journals the embossed pattern might not be the same as on the image. Each item is individual, leather is a natural product and can have slight imperfections, we feel this adds to the individuality and makes each product unique.For embossed items, the exact pattern will not be the same as the sample image shown but all products have been made with the same handmade.
