Description: For sale is a 10 image set of pictures from the famous Hagenbeck Zoo in Hamburg, Germany. The images are from the 50s or early 60s, when my family would visit Hamburg (no visits occurred after 1961). The pictures are in good condition, especially given the age, and the set is very rare since it is complete and shows impressions from the Zoo more than 50 years ago. Get a rare collectible from Germany, a zoo that was modern because it was the first zoo to have open enclosures rather than cages. Also worth noting that this zoo got destroyed during WW2; the images show the new Zoo rebuild starting in the late 40s.
