Would hold between 12-14 ounces. Cup doesn't say dishwasher safe, but I would think it would be fine, unless the writing on the top may eventually come off with time. I will ship by USPS Ground Advantage or Priority, both are supposed to be insured, but in the event of damage, I ask that you take carton and contents to the post office for inspection, or they will deny claim. My postmaster told me there is no actual inspection form to fill out, so I have no idea how this works, I just know sending pictures of the broken item is not sufficient.
